Who we are
caniretire.uk is operated as a free educational retirement calculator. For privacy enquiries relating to this site, contact us through the channels listed on the site or at the domain registrar for caniretire.uk.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not operate a backend that stores your pension figures. Calculator inputs stay in your browser unless you choose to share them.
- Share links: When you use Share, your scenario is encoded in the page URL (query parameter). Anyone with that link can see those values. Do not share links if you are uncomfortable exposing those figures.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-H724W14CG7) to understand aggregate traffic — for example pages visited, approximate location, device type, and referral source. Google processes this data under its own terms.
- Advertising: We use Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-0234697080488501). Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including interest-based advertising where permitted. You can manage ad personalisation in Google Ads Settings.
- Hosting logs: Our CDN and object storage provider (Amazon Web Services) may record standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and operations.

The calculator itself does not set first-party cookies for your inputs.
